Alibi ("we", "us", "our") is a murder mystery party app. This policy explains how we handle your data.
2. What We Collect
- Selfie photos: Used solely to generate AI character portraits. Photos are processed and not stored permanently on our servers.
- Device identifiers: Anonymous device IDs for game sessions and code redemption. No account or login required.
- Email address: Only if you join our waitlist. Used solely to notify you about launch.
- Game data: Character assignments, story progress, and game state during active sessions.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Generate personalized character portraits and story content
- Run game sessions
- Send launch notifications (waitlist only)
- Improve the app experience
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database and backend (EU/US hosted)
- Google Cloud: AI image generation
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reporting (anonymous)
- RevenueCat: In-app purchase management
5. Data Retention
Selfie photos are processed in real-time and not retained after portrait generation. Game data is retained for the duration of the game session. Waitlist emails are retained until launch or until you request removal.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / Swiss DPA)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us at support@getalibi.co for any requests.
7. Children
Alibi is rated 12+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
