By using Alibi (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Alibi is an AI-powered mobile application that generates murder mystery party experiences, including:

• AI-generated characters, storylines, scripts, and clues
• AI-generated character portraits and event artwork
• Game hosting and management tools
• Multiplayer party gameplay features

You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

What You Should Know

• Content is generated by AI and may be unpredictable, inaccurate, or occasionally inappropriate
• AI-generated storylines involve fictional crime scenarios — this is entertainment, not real
• Generated content may vary in quality and is provided “as is”

Ownership

• Your inputs: You retain ownership of the information you provide (party details, guest names, themes, preferences)
• AI-generated content: Licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share game materials with your party guests
• Our rights: We retain ownership of the underlying AI models, algorithms, app design, and infrastructure
• No exclusivity: Similar content may be produced for other users since AI models may generate comparable outputs from similar inputs

During games, players may create content (messages, accusations, notes, strategies). By submitting content:

• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display it within the Service for gameplay
• You retain ownership of your content
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate these Terms

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or extract the AI models or Service code
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
• Circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Use generated content to deceive people into believing a real crime has occurred
• Redistribute AI-generated content commercially without our permission

• The Service is provided on an “as available” basis
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes
• During beta/early access, features may change frequently

• The Alibi name, logo, app design, and technology are our intellectual property
• These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding
• If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or CHF 50 if no payments were made).

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.

• You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time
• We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your license to previously downloaded AI-generated content survives

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
